Back in November, I did a special secret session with the lovely Karen, her daughter Krissy and Krissy's son Brody. Brody and Krissy might look familiar, remember them from Brody's Newborn Session? He's grown up so much! ... Anyway, I met up with these three to do some photos that the girls could give their husbands for a surprise Christmas gift. It was super hard to keep the photos a secret, but now that Christmas is over and the guys loved their gifts, I can share them! (check my facebook page for more photos)
I had a super fun session on Sunday afternoon with the Female Ignite Team Leaders at New Hope Christian College. The girls let loose and had some fun together while shot some photos. They had no idea I was shooting some of these pictures, I got a few of them just hanging out and they are some of my favorites. Here are some of my favorite shots and there are more on my facebook page! Thanks for a great session, ladies!
While most people were scoring some great Black Friday deals, I was with the D family taking family pictures! The D Family does pictures every year, according to the kids, and as someone who has a family who also does yearly pictures, I totally understand the intensity that a large family session can bring. Needless to say, we have a few silly face photos from our session :-) But we got some great shots too!
I had the pleasure of having a photo session with the B Family on Saturday afternoon. Thankfully, the rain stayed away until a few minutes after our session ended! I have known the B Family for quite some time and it was so nice to finally meet four month old Nicholas. He was a little flirt and between the big blue eyes and his adorable grin, he melted my heart. He even snuggled up with me for a minute. :-) ::sigh:: He was just too cute!
Can I just say that Point Defiance Park is probably one of my favorite parks to do photos at? The colors and backgrounds are beautiful! ... I met with the S Family at Pt Defiance on Saturday and I am so glad that I got to meet this family, they were absolutely wonderful to work with! Little Presli kept growling at me and I couldn't handle it - I laughed a lot. I think she knew she was making me laugh, she most definitely had an adorable smile on her face like she was thinking, "Silly lady... I will keep making you laugh" :-) I'm a sucker for babies and Presli was simply adorable! Here's some sneak peeks for the S Family:
Sometimes the rain just get in the way. It was beautiful all day on Friday and on Saturday morning we woke up to wet weather and eventually rain. Thankfully, I was still able to meet up with the H family and the rain stopped, mostly, and we were able to get a few good shots outside before heading back to their house for some more pictures. I think you'll agree that these three kids have the most beautiful blue eyes. EVER.
The girls came up with the idea to kiss his cheeks :-)
Luke, I told you I'd get a picture of you with your Leapster! :-)
So... Morgan (above) was one of my flower girls 4 1/2 years ago! She's so grown up! And I wasn't lying about their blue eyes, was I? GORGEOUS!
This is just one of many of my favorite shots from the session.
This is the H family, I've known them for a few years, and when I offered Mini Sessions, Rachelle, said, "Sign me up!" It was a lot of fun hanging out with the boys, I haven't really spent much time with them the last couple years since we moved to Eugene, it amazes me how much they've grown and changed over two years! They couldn't be more different, Trevor (the oldest), was quiet and almost camera-shy. I think AJ could have spent all afternoon posing for pictures. :-) I think we got some great shots and it was hard to pick just a few favorites to share!
I had the opportunity to meet up with the D family for some family pictures on Saturday. It poured all morning, but thankfully the rain held off, for the most part, and we were able to get some great shots. Americus, their daughter, was so beautiful and I absolutely love the pictures we got of her! She's got gorgeous, big brown eyes and a smile that melts your heart. :-)
Dad is in the Army and when he saw this rock, he knew he wanted a picture around this. It was awesome to see how excited he was to see this tribute. Thank you for your service Corey!
I have been waiting to meet Little Miss Lauren for a couple weeks now. She is adorable and so alert. She was so tiny and light compared to my two year old :-) Congratulations, Megan, you have a beautiful little girl!
